Nearly 1 in 8 individuals in Colorado is facing hunger and unsure of where his or her next meal will come from. This need also disproportionately affects kids and seniors. Families living below the poverty line and the elderly are forced to make difficult choices between buying food and other necessities.
The Life Center steps into the place of need through our Food Bank services. By offering free healthy groceries for families and individuals in need, we’re making an impact on multiple generations and ensuring our community knows we care about them.
Will you join us?
Our Food Bank volunteers do a lot more than just stock shelves. They welcome our clients with friendly faces, listen to their stories, and help connect them with other services at the Life Center and in our community.
If you want to make an impact on our community in a tangible way in an area of great need, become a part of our Food Bank volunteer team today!
