English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and is the official language of over 53 countries. If English is your first language, you may not know how pivotal English skills can be to advance an individual’s career in the United States and beyond. Conversely, Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the United States. By learning a second language, we can begin to dissolve boundaries that can keep us from developing relationships with our neighbors.
Will you join us?
If you are fluent in both English and Spanish, we’d love for you to become a teacher in our Practical English class, to help others learn English for daily use, or Practical Spanish, to help others learn Spanish and about Hispanic culture.
If you want to practice your second language skills and help others do so as well, you can become a language conversation partner. You’ll learn a new skill and build new relationships at the same time.
Mondays | 3:30 – 5:00 PM
Thursdays | 6:00 – 7:30 PM
you can make a difference.
Practice your own foreign language skills as you help someone else master theirs.
